50's ice trays

I admit to becoming a little bit obsessed with ice. I bought a couple of 50's ice trays on eBay. I had my choice of a whole bunch of different types. I chose a tray that makes less ice cubes but they appeared to be more square. Two rows instead of three. I froze the water with the handles in the UP position so the separating fins would be closer to cubes. In the closed position they're more like rhomboids, and that's unacceptable. You also have to help the fins go straight, they have a tendency to float around un-squarishly.

Normal people take wine to a party. I take cubic ice, coffee, vanilla and chocolate. Go figure.
