Bacon and tomato sandwich





BLT. 

Homemade bread. Homemade mayonnaise. 

This sandwich is better than I thought it would be.

I wanted bacon and tomato and realized later what I had is a BLT. It's a popular thing in American cafes but it is not usually good as this. This sandwich is really good bread and really good bacon.

    Do you like mayonnaise?

    For the better(?) part of my life, I could not escape having that on my BLT. It adds a slick, oily texture that contrasts well with the crispy bacon and lettuce, crunchy toast, and the fleshy tomato.

    I couldn't escape until I discovered the BLT...A. Avocado fills in fairly well for the mayo.
