American fair food. Devised in the South. American-style frankfurter, like bologna in a casing, and coated with a sweetened cornbread batter and deep-fried.

No bun. Or rather, the bun is a coating in cornbread batter form.
This batter is extemporaneous, milled popcorn, masa harina, a/p flour, egg, salt, sugar, water, milk, dash of baking powder. The first batter was too thin, more dry ingredients and a trace of baking powder added for thicker coating.
