Its color is more like flamingo than salmon.
This was on sale for 40% off so I bought two of them. There were two such similar sales close to each other at Tony's a nearby market. One the salmon purchases I was distressed to learn upon returning home was for farm raised salmon and I do not want that. I do not know which one this is, farm or wild, I thought it was wild, but I have never had salmon this buttery. The fat layers are not strong, not developed. It seems less fierce. It is tender. It is probably farmed. I could be wrong.
