Tuna, daikon radish

This spiral cutter is fun. But you can waste a lot figuring it out due to two blades, one fixed blade cuts spiral discs around a core while the second optional blade, one of three choices that looks like tiny metal combs with teeth of varying size that slice shreds immediately before the usual spiral disc slicing blade. The teeth do not cut precisely when the second comb-blade is seated as directed, the shred slices are incomplete so some adjustment is necessary to get it just so, a few turns, a bit of waste then you are on your way. I didn't realize the medium blade is too big for this. These are big hearty shreds like noodles eighteen feet long. It's ridiculous and that's why children would love this thing with potatoes and fat carrots and such.
