Chef's salad, Taste of Philly

They have very good salads over there. And great salad dressings too. They make their own and they don't hold back like they do with bottled dressings or the prepared ones in little packages.

This is actually two meals.

But I notice they are not inexpensive. A full sandwich costs $11.00 an so does this sald so that's $22.00 right there. Throw in some extras such as canned drinks and chips and the cost rises to $30.00. 

I can go to nearby Old Santa Fe and have a full plate with chips and salsa, beans and rice, and drink for $15.00.  Add a $10.00 for serving one person where you normally have two and the cost is still less than the sandwich and salad. 

Old Santa Fe for the win.

I think I'll go back there today.
