The tamales were given to me by Olga after Christmas. Making tamales is a large group holiday activity for Mexican families. I feel honored that Olga thinks of me. Wrapped in corn husks that impart corn flavor to the masa when steamed. Frozen, they are easily re-steamed. Son muy delicioso.
