This was fed several hours ago. Not the customary doubling but rather just a feeding, water and flour, to keep the whole business down. I'm mean that way. So it is not at peak activity but I decided to show you anyway. If feedings were regular, which they are not because I am an unreliable pet owner, then the peaks and valleys of yeast culture activity would be regular and predictable and this would be about 1/3 of the way up a peak.
