Short ribs, cooked in an Instantpot.


I bought these for the bones and didn't care too much about cost. The price seems a bit high. Best to wait for these to go on sale. I'm not sure they're worth this much money, better spent on a good steak.



The pot can hold a lot more than this.


1.5 hours worked very nicely.


I made the bbq sauce myself from:

* tomato paste
* brown sugar
* apple cider vinegar
* salt 
* pepper
* garlic
* ginger
* cumin
* coriander
* chipotle chile powder
* water

After starting, the Instantpot read "burn" so I released the pressure and added 1 cup of water. But that was not necessary. It would have been fine and with no burning. It cries wolf because it sensed there wasn't enough liquid. But there was enough liquid. But it was thick.
