Chocolate malted milkshake with banana and almond milk

For the almond milk, I do not recall medjool dates being 2nd on ingredients. This almond milk is more intense than the almond milk on grocery store shelves.

Here's the thing: the raw almonds are soaked in water for 24 hours before being turned into juice. When juiced, the solids go one way and the liquid goes another. The liquid from this juicing is too thick so more water is added. Not to be cheap, rather, to be reasonable.

But the plain almond milk is too plain so the other elements are added.

I think if you've had almond milk and enjoyed it, then you will surely like this. This juice is a lot more intense. And yet very plain. Very straightforward. Because it is milk. Duh.

The chocolate is too intense. The chocolate milk is whole milk and it is way too intensely chocolate. The chocolate ice cream tastes like way too much high quality dark chocolate was used. Those two together is way too intensely chocolate. It cloys all the way through.

I know two people who would love that. Way chocolate overboard. These two people love insanely over-chocolatified brownies and ice cream. I go, "Oh man, I shouldn't have added chocolate liquor," and they are all, "yes way, keep adding more layers of chocolate."

I am certain there is more than 2% almonds in these juice bar pints. The guy is a healthfood proponent more than a juice-magnate. He is doing what he believes in most and we see that he is interested in quality. The pints are $9.00 each. You can probably do it yourself for less, but this is pretty close.
