Thai noodles

In the style of Thai noodles, everything all at once, a riot, sweet, salty, hot, bitter, savory, tart, breathily aromatic through and through rolled in a peanut butter sauce.

Except this has avocado and Napa cabbage and pecans.

What is this peanut butter sauce that is previously mentioned?

Well, it has peanut butter in it. Usually some kind of curry, but not here, a fish sauce too sometimes, or a piece of anchovy. It will have sugar and vinegar and water, sometimes soy sauce. It can include coconut milk, this one uses pasta water that is flavored with shrimp having been cooked in there. Sometime toasted sesame seed oil. This has chile flakes too.

Chicken salad, corn on the cob

It has avocado in it and steamed broccoli and raisins too, you probably cannot see it, falafel pasta, and every here and there I would get a forkful of roasted chicken that tasted so deep and so rich and different from the rest that I just sat there and went, nom nom nom, "Wow."

Chicken skin

This is the portion that health-conscious weight-conscious people discard, masochists,  but I love it so. It is crispy and oily and it holds all the spice and a most of the salt, and I intend to eat all of the skin pulled off an entire family pack of chicken thighs which turn out to be twelve.

Chicken thighs, escalloped potato

One small potato. Who does that? Microwaved for two minutes to give the potato a head start, then sliced thinly, so in the regular oven only long enough to amalgamate and brown.

Dredge, drench, dredge. The drench portion is plain water for crunch.

Egg, potato with tomato

With a leftover pork chop and chipotle.

il s'agit d'une tableau, mai oui?

il s'agit d'une nature morte.

il s'agit d'une mise en place

If a criminal would ever break into my house and fix himself a plate of toast while he's at it and expects refreshing raspberry preserves, boy, will  he ever be in for a big surprise because that is hot chipotle chile peppers and not refreshing raspberry preserves.

This cut of meat was named after two butchers, David Pork and Hank Chop.

It is missing tor tilly yas because I didn't feel like making them. I was just there too, at the store, I could have bought a dozen for a dollar sorprendente que son tan baratos but I never do buy them.

Except for some times.

When I feel like it.

And then I end up with half a dozen sitting around getting old and stale.
