Rancher's pie


I made up that name, shepherd's pie except beef and not lamb. I never did shepherd's pie before. Seems simple enough. It occurred to me the pie should be shallow to allow for Mesopotamia. I meant to say, allow for a mess of potatoes. 

We talk like that around here. That means a lot of potatoes. 


Mine has corn in it because the corn is on the way out, waste not want not and all that. They say it gets noticeably worse and worse the moment it's plucked and that makes me feel bad for letting it go this far.

Additionally, these individual portions are frozen removed from the tin and wrapped separately.
