As a breakfast food, pasta (made from flour, water and sometimes egg) could be seen as a creative alternative to bread (made from flour, water and sometimes egg). That would be flawed reasoning, since it is obvious that pasta at breakfast would be enjoyed only by a libertine, the sort of person who thumbs his upturned nose at convention, speeds through school zones with no concern about the innocent lives he jeopardizes, and wants Charlie Manson and his satanic followers to conduct orgiastic killings of decent, God-fearing Americans. You can tell a lot about a man by what he eats for breakfast.
This is perceptive and true and sage advice all around, so watch out. And lettuce. As if to foment confusion and strife.
In this case the egg, meets the minimum standard of a compaña.
It's a meal.
