grits from dried posole, cheese, bacon, jalapeño with fried egg

This small manual coffee bean mill is too difficult to use. It takes way too much force, way too many turns, and multiple runs to get the particles small enough, to be any real use.

I tried it with posole that was soaked for two days to soften the kernels and that did not work. The kernels simply did not pass through it.

But that gave the idea to soak kernels before processing them in a normal electric coffee mill. I just now ordered my fourth electric coffee mill. Corn kernels damage them.

The large regular flour mill does work very well, but that's such a drag to pull out and to clean up afterwards. Too much trouble for one little meal.
