rice ball with mushrooms

It's a Japanese sandwich.

About 1/4 cup favored cooked rice and a tablespoon of flavorful filling. The flavors can be anything. It's the nori seaweed that does it.

I saw these things in Tokyo but had no interest in ever having one. Boy, did I ever miss out. I had no idea they pack so much flavor into them. Much more interesting than a bowl of rice with some kind of ingredient topping it. These are going to be a staple for the rest of my life. Presently I like them better than regular sandwiches made with bread.
