Steak pot

Dark brown sugar is melted in the bottom of a pot and caramelized, burned actually. It smokes and it looks like a loss but the brave persist until all the sugar is pretty much turned black and also a serious mess, then the meat chunks are added to that and stirred around. The meat caramelizes too. Vegetables are added and they are stirred and coated with all that burned brown sugar. At this point the meat is cooked and edible right as it is, and the chunks are delicious without being sweet or burnt tasting, but the vegetables are still raw.

Seasoning is added, white wine, and then water is added for braising liquid and the smaller pots are baked for over an hour.

The meat is cooked as a steak but the vegetables are raw ↑.

*ding* That was an hour and thirty minutes at medium low heat.

The smaller pots are baked, the vegetables are cooked and now the meat chunks are really cooked ↓.
