Germinating chile seeds from grocery store dry chile pods

It has been ten days. Time to become anxious and check for life because that is what I decided ten days ago. Dig around for signs of life if we have to because that is what becoming anxious means; behaving unnaturally concerned about matters that can as easily be waited out.

Through the plastic so the tape holding it is not ruined, this one tiny green dot confirms the seeds within the dry grocery store chile pods are viable.

No it doesn't. Although it does look like a chile it can be anything and so not yet absolute proof. Need more of these and bigger. I can stop being anxious now. Phew. That burst of angst there I made for myself was a trip.

Fail. After seventeen days the seeds failed to germinated. Habanero seeds from a live specimen are started.
