Something to fill your maw
To sate your starve. 


1/2 jar roasted hot green chile peppers.
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 tin tomato paste
1 jumbo egg
1 LB minced beef
4 bratwurst sausages [it's what I had so it's what I used, spiced up to compensate for its shortcomings]

Brussels sprouts tamed the same way as with sturdy greens, with pressure and with sugar to curb their bitter nature. This is simpler than it sounds, the pot with scant liquid is turned on high and clamped closed until the pressure rises to full, that takes 30 seconds or so, then taken off and allowed to climb down to normal pressure. That's it. Very fast procedure. Then ice water and the Brussels sprouts are ready for a regular vinaigrette treatment, this time with Balsamic vinegar and with a sweet/sour/bitter/salt thing going on with them that is interesting.
