They're called scallions because they're rascally little devils. I've taken a signal from Emmy on YouTube and prepared the whole bunch since they're always used the same way for everything.
Did you know that you can plant the little bulbs and they'll grow new greens if you tend them with water and light? Well, you can. And all that farming saves you a dollar a bunch and you always have scallions on hand.
