Bacon cheeseburger, salsa fresca


Hamburger made previously from ground steak and frozen. Fried in bacon grease.

The same salsa cruda as shown previously, renamed to fresh for total fake out, it is hardly that, but it is still bright and surprisingly attractive and delicious. I should keep this around more often.

The burnt cheese skirt looks terrible but it totally makes this whole thing. Breaking off a piece and trying it separately is the first thing one does at the table. It passes the test, a bit salty. It is excellent in combination with everything else on the plate. You end up portioning around so it ends evenly. I recommend doing this, spread extra cheese all around and let it melt and fry directly onto the pan.

No bun. None of that fast energy/extra converted quickly and stored as body fat nonsense. You can eat four of these every day and shed extra weight.
