Proprietary means the spices I have on hand in the cabinets. They're the same spices that everyone else buys.

If you don't know about spices and would like to learn then buy some and start adding them. Live and learn through trial and error and that there's what you call autodidactic education. And official scholastic education is a LOT more expensive than that.
