escalloped potato with bacon and egg

Milk and butter is heated. Lemon squeezed into it. A peeled potato sliced into it, the potato's starch used to thicken the milk. A small onion is sliced into it. Salt and pepper, hot red pepper and nutmeg and fresh tarragon are added. Baked at high heat until done.

Two strips of bacon are fried. An egg is fried in the same pan.

This is a one-bowl, one pot, one plate meal

This preparation uses the microwave, the oven, and a stovetop burner.  

I wish that I would have thought of jalapeño. That would have been awesome.
