Roasted poblano soup






The red coating is sold separately as mace. It's the same thing as nutmeg except a bit milder. 



It's like a chile pepper salad with its own dressing that doesn't have fat.

Therefore butter is added to compensate for this fat-shortcoming and that right there changes the whole deal.



Cream and nutmeg added.


Growing like mad in the Aerogarden.


Oh man, I forgot to add cheese.

That's okay, half the frozen carton is still there already thawed and this little bowl isn't enough for dinner anyway. I'll do it again. With cheese. And have a whole different cream of poblano experience.
