Salmon hushpuppies

What a waste. The salmon for this was large and expensive half side filet. The filet was frozen and languished for a year. When thawed it languished further, produced a few excellent sections and the remainder used for this. A simple tin of salmon would do the same thing.

Catsup blended from a tin of tomatoes and cooked down was used once, then this and dropped on the floor. Glass all over and myself in bare feet. So that had to be cleaned up from where I stood.

The hushpuppies heavy with salmon produced seven of these balls. They are excellent. Having not eaten all day save for some light airy breadsticks, a staple around here, and quite hungry by 8:00 pm at night I found I could eat only three. They do not save well. They cannot be reheated. A cat might like them.
