What we have here is not your ordinary meatballs. This has 1+1/3 LB ground beef, 1/4 LB chorizo, [polenta ground cornmeal, panko bread crumbs, oatmeal for texture and moisture retention], three eggs, a small tin of diced tomato with habanero, brown sugar. Worcestershire sauce, compound butter, regular butter, a lot of those two things, diced onion and garlic, dry vermouth. Plus water in increments.
Half of the spaghetti pile is actually a thick disc of lettuce cut from the center of a full head. Who does that?
Nobody does, that's who. And it's a great idea too. The sauce is the best salad dressing for the lettuce.
