Peanut butter pralines




Seems odd to overlay  gentle pecan flavor with stronger more forward peanut flavor but that's what is done here. A little peanut butter goes a very long way. It is substituting for regular butter, just a tablespoon, and half as much would work as well. Half peanut butter and half ordinary butter.

The butter is cut way back too because of the cream. And powdered milk added because cream has less milk solids than condensed milk. Cream has way more fat and less milk solids than evaporated milk which most modern recipes call for. So adjustments were made to correct those back while including peanut butter.

I did something incredibly stupid by forgetting vanilla so I compensated by painting it on.]
